Thoughts on Breeding & Keeping Shelties
 

I have belonged to a variety of Sheltie lists, some since their inception.  Upon occasion a question will come up that piques my interest and I'll write something about it.  This page and the article links preserves those thoughts and might also include some essays that I feel burdened to write down.  Why?  Well, likely just a bit of vanity there, and also just to have them somewhere in case someone is curious about what some small-fry Sheltie breeder thinks about these subjects.  Like most Sheltie breeders, I want to make a positive impact on the breed and share with others some of what I've learned along the way. And lastly, I want to have a place where I have stored some of my ideals and dreams for those times when I need them.
